Nexus

A dynamic tabletop sculpture, two marble pieces mounted on separate marble bases.  Each piece can move independently but is limited in its movement by the other piece.   The title, NEXUS, refers to the place where two things intersect and affect each other.    Inextricably linked, the pieces have freedom of motion but only within limits established by the connection to the other piece.  NEXUS is a metaphorical representation of relationships between individuals, organizations, cultures, and countries.
