I am a self-taught, multi-media artist, working with fiber and metal. My love of working with my hands explains my interest in these two disparate mediums. Each medium challenges my creativity as I learn to work with different materials.
Currently I am focusing on working with metal and creating sculptures ranging from pedestal displayed sculptures to large outdoor, landscape pieces. I find working with metal challenges me with uncommon engineering problems and solving problems in art using science and math.
Notably, I’ve been been involved with several Hudson Valley art galleries and most recently co-chairing the annual ArtEast Open Studio Tour. I’ve had work shown nationally in museums and galleries. I accept commissions in both fiber and metal mediums.
