Tectonic Drift

This piece was inspired by the natural beauty of Iceland. Thingvellir is a historic site in Iceland that sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of the North American and Europeon tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures. Overlooking the valley, one can imagine the plates moving, drifting apart as the earth’s crust moves.
