High Plains

The High Plains are a region of the Great Plains in the midwestern United States.  The vast flatness before it reaches the Rocky Mountains is depicted in “High Plains”,  felted wool with inclusions of gold mesh.  Just like the region that inspired this piece, “High Plains” is rich with texture and color.
