Greek Mythology tells about sailors facing all manner of doom as they sailed the Aegean sea.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0One myth describes the dual threat of \u201cScylla\u201d and \u201cCharybdis\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Scylla, a monstrous demon, would pluck sailors from the ship as it sailed by, while on the ship\u2019s other side Charybdis, a powerful dark whirlpool, could suck the ship down to the ocean\u2019s bottom.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Careful navigation was required for the ship to sail between these two dangerous threats.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The name of the threats may have changed, but to this day the concept of being \u201cBetween the devil and the deep blue sea\u201d, or \u201cBetween a rock and a hard place\u201d lives on.<\/b><\/p>\n
