NED READE – WATERCOLOR ARTIST |
|
|
Whether painting on a
ridge overlooking a sheep farm, or by the rushing waters of a trout stream,
or along the New England coast, Ned Reade captures the changing light and
colors of the seasons in watercolors and oils. He likes nothing better than
filling a thermos of coffee and bringing a chocolate chip cookie to a
painting location. He only rewards himself once the sketch is done, and he’s
ready to paint! |
During this year’s ARTmostNY
event |
|
I plan to wander Charles Colman Blvd. in Pawling until something
jumps out at me to paint. It will not take long to pull out a sketchbook, set
up an easel, and grab some brushes. Soon I'll be splashing paint across
paper! |
